My truck is overheating and has been towed to Monroe, LA, sitting at the Freightliner place. I desperately need to get my load of frozen chicken to it's destination of Jackson, MS. It's only 120 miles away but haven't found a way to do this yet. If someonee can finish this load somehow then I will pay you pretty good! My trailer could be left there somewhere in Jackson, MS or brought back to Monroe, LA. Any takers or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

PS. Another option is if someone knew a place that could possibly look at my truck right away and possibly get it back on the road, Freightliner is saying they can't look at it until Tuesday.

I tried that, Penske won't set me up with an account on the weekend. But I do plan on setting one up in case this happens in the future. I just haven't had many breakdowns over the years so this stuff is all kinda new to me. I also have been trying Ryder there in Monroe but still can't get an answer.

I am 170 miles away with a truck sitting but no driver available today. Would like to help you and I was wishing I could get my phone number to you when I noticed that you had posted a number and the mod removed it. That will definately limit the possibilities.
So, how mechanical are you ? Any tools on hand? You might be able to find a local mechanic who can help you out but most likely you are on your own. If you could call me on the phone I can give you some ideas but apparently phone numbers aren't allowed.
How did the overheating start? Was it sudden or build up over time? How long? Might be a fairly simple solution.

Thanks,I was thinking that it had to be fifty posts for some reason. Since I don't post very often and noticed that the OP had a low post count also I just figured that option was unavailable. Thanks for the input.
This is a problem that many face on the road all the time so maybe we should keep it out in the open for the benefit of others who might find themselves in a similar situation.

I guess we can assume that the OP got the help he needed from someone even if it was the Freightliner house in this case. I do hope he returns to post the outcome of the situation.

I'm still glad I'm not working for a Union... Hope the issue got fixed the old fashioned way... by brother truckers reaching out, NOT by Teamsters sticking their noses where they don't belong.
