In Umitilla OR....at the crossroads truckstop right across from the Umatilla Scales.......decided to call it a night....If I play my cards right I can get to Portland...unload...and then get to Seattle and be able to screw around for a day without anything to do before I get unloaded in Seattle....I wonder what my backhaul is going to be....hopefully something home...cause its been a nice long 3 weeks out for me....(nobody at home so its time for me to make money LOL)....

Unless they changed it, if you had an early morning appointment at Costco you could arrive after 9 PM and they'll put you in a door...

My vacation is drawing to a close and we returned from the Upper Peninsula on Friday early evening. Was suppose to go back out yesterday but they didn't have anything so looks like Monday.

I forgot how much I love the Upper Peninsula. The last time I'd been up there for a vacation I was 14 and my family had a cabin near Iron Mountain. I'm thinking about buying a cottage up near Manistique and making it our vacation and long weekends destination. Prices are pretty good on some beautiful places.

Got in for my 1 am appointment, but my plan to sneak back into the staging area to finish my 10 backfired, no parking allowed after delivery, so i had to line 5 for a few miles back to a fuel stop. Luckily there was still some parking left,no way was i going to risk going through a virginia super coop on line five with my 14 hour clock used up. Heading up to front royal as soon as i get driving hours reset and grabbing my load up warners, then home for my 34.

Sitting in Olympia WA waiting for the cover of dark and the still of the night to move to my last stop in Seattle...if I do it all right and everyting goes good I should be able to park on the street once I get there and by the time my appt rolls around I should have a full set of Recap hours to roll on down the road with.....
One thing I do know is that this trailer is going to need a wash before loading anything else...cause there is blood all over the floor from the combos that got loaded HOT.......so yeah...

Well, I'll be picking up a load from Sysco in Front Royal taking it to Sysco in Syracuse. Anything I should know about the Sysco in Syracuse? Josh told me I could park there once I got there, so I can get there early. I'll probably be there tonight to deliver in the morning. Gotta get my truck back to the shop again B Service is due soon and I have a check engine light on again. This time it just says "See Operators Manual" when I check the faults. Anyway I will see you guys on the flip side :)

Ahhh, "See operator's manual". I think everybody has one of those faults. Ignore it. Just write it down when you write up the truck for service.

Got pulled over today and given a warning by one of Washington States finest.....I hit a nasty groove in the road and my MT trailer swerved across the lane....at least he was nice to give me a warning...which is only CSA points and not a monetary fine....

Figured something had to go wrong after having an awesome week...from being early at recievers and getting unloaded quick and right away....to an awesome load back...figures something has to go wrong...

@kev, just check in at the guard shack, and they will point you to the back of the lot near the water tower, and check in with receiving in the morning, not a bad place to deliver, and once you are parked in the back, they dont usually bother you.
