Wow ... If they called you up there to do that .. Man I don't know how I'd react if someone said that crap to me and I wasted fuel money etc to go up there for them to say that . That's plum crazy if 2 of you are saying the same thing basically maybe it does in fact have legs
-
you guys are gullible. truck n tech is from the philadelphia area. he isnt speaking about mercer from the way i read it. if you dont qualify, you will simply be told that.
at mercer recruiting you cant be "taken back" to a recruiters office. their desks are up in front in a open area, you walk in the front of that bldg and you are there. no where to be taken too.
and really, do you honestly think anyone would take the time to "invite " a knucklehead to their office???
i have to ask this, do you also believe everything you hear at the coffee counter? us marine, what you encountered at mercer is the way it is. the internet forums are the new truckstop counter, is it any wonder the us marshal stories are still being told and believed. LOL -
i cant imagine any recruiter acting that way
lying like a used car salesman yes but not insulting or degrading
they get paid to HIRE people -
AWE-chew!!, Sorry!, I'm allergic to BS,

I have no personal experiences with mercer, but feel the need to post anyway about my experience with mercer.
It was a cold dark night.I had just left a truck stop none of you have ever been to.
I had just whooped up on a few of the local drivers for talkin smack at the urinal about the gift I had been blessed with from birth.
Anyway...A mercer recruiter happened to be passin a deuce in the stall next to me,as well as placing an ad for man love on the wall at the urinal.
He followed me out into the parking lot,and insisted on giving me his card.
I tried repeatedley to inform him that I wasnt looking for a job.I had inherited a substantial fortune and drove just to
pass time, and meet hot chicks, and share my huge schlong with the world. He would not give up,however.I told him to give me
some time to review his credentials, and I would get back to him.
I returned to my brand new paid for peterbilt, and entered his name into my database of recruiters. My truck is equipped with
nasa type computers that have the ability to do on the spot background checks on recruiters.
His background check was less than impressive. It seems he had spent quite some time in the pen for poultryfelia, and was no longer allowed to work on
any poultry farms, and had since started his new career in recruiting truckers.
I informed him I was on to his little game, and would not be driving for mercer anytime soon until he could prove he had recovered from his obsession
with poultry. If I cant trust a man with my chickens, then how can I trust him to do the right thing when the chips are down sending me a new load?
You guys do your homework, and ALWAYS do a background check on your recruiter.He/she may possibly be a poultryfelia offender,or worse..skateboardman Thanks this. -
Got a good chuckle out of that RMBP. It's good the chickens have a voice in the world looking out for them.
RALPHMANBEARPONY Thanks this. -
Just bored, and hope to someday be the Stephen King of trucking Literature ..
