Broker Directory?

    Need some help i have been looking and can't seem to find a directory of freight brokers.I used google but nothing comes up only a few brokers show up.Im looking for a directory that list brokers by city and or state.Thanx hope somone can help me.I wanna be proactive before i even get my authority and check out as many brokers as possible.So when i recieve my authority i can register with everyone on my list so i dont have to do it over and over when i call on a load.

    You are probably referring to the Freight Broker's Gold Book. It provides credit information on brokers and you should be able to do a search to find brokers wherever you want. If you do a search you should find them. Keep in mind that many brokers have freight outside of their physical location. I know some who don't have business near them. All their business is in other areas of the country.

    When was the last time you saw one of those?I would be willing to bet that some of these drivers on here couldn't figure out how to use a phone with a cord attached.
