A cool thing about trucking that I never heard anyone else mention

That is the problem... the worrying!

There is no problem, til the one time that there is a problem.

Back in training we left the truck to go get something to eat. We left the truck in an alley, where the shipper told us it was ok to park.

I suggested we pull the front curtains closed so anybody looking would think there was a driver in the cab sleeping. Trainer said, "Oh, that's a good idea..."

Some times you get sent to a place so many times you stop writing down the directions on how to get there.
Or you get excited about going to a certain place because that means you can stop at a favorite truck stop along the way.

 

it really doesn't take much to excite us does it
now that all the TS have french vanilla cream
i need something new to look forward too

 

Must admit this is what I think would be the coolest part of the job. The windshield is your tv how cool is that....
