Called in and talked to a recruiter. Told me more information. I would get paid while in orientation and get on a truck after that. He told me about the reefer division and the flatbed division to. Flatbed sounds great and told me they get 2600-2900 miles in a week. And could make 1000+ in a week but forgot the payscale. For reefer he told me since I have 3 years experience and also would put me on a lightweight I would get .43 per mile. Thats really a high pay but also told me solo drivers on reefer side get 2300-2800 miles in a week. I asked him about being a trainer but he told me I can after driving 90 days. I didnt want to drive a lightweight even though you get a high pay. I asked him is theres any other way I can get a fullsize truck and he told me I would If I go on the flatbed division or I would lease a truck, train, or team. I do want to train but will have to wait 90 days. Their lease sounds interesting, feeling the lease again. For team I dont really know yet. Got more into the lease, he told me about their lease program and that drivers usually take hom 1500-2000 after expenses in a week. Sounds good but I dont actually know if its true. Both flatbed and reefer sounds great. One question I did forget to ask him was about their hometime policy, but did tell me they get loads into California alot.

Flatbed is more interesting :D Ask IP bout the reefer lease, or SE. Hometime for company drivers is 3-4 weeks out 1 day off for each week out. Shouldnt have too much of a hassle getting home.

I used to work for Prime. I went through their school and everything. 3 of my buds still work there. Hometime is one day off for every week out. Out four weeks, off four days. You don't have to lease to get a full size truck. You see they pay you an extra buckle per mile to drive a lightweight. If u get a full size condo you lose that extra buckle. If u go company ask for Cheryl Lane. She was my dispatcher. She always kept me moving. I know if it was so great why don't I work there now. Well I like to be more about every two weeks and the truck speed there. Jeezzz 55mph sucks. Can't climb nothing and always in the way. But on the other hand there equipment is nice.
