I have a 2008 Volvo 680 with Cummins engine that always wants to regen for like half the day. Anyone know what this could be?

it could be anything from bad sensors to the DPF needed to be cleaned and/or replaced.

Seventh injector probably needs to be cleaned,contact a cummins dealer and they could probably tell you how to do it over the phone.

usually going bad exaust sensor reads wrong data and ECM "thinks" DPF is clogged and needs regeneration

Hi Indiana Jack,
Bring the truck or the ECM to Montreal we have a shop there that can fix that problem so you never ever have to regen again.
It will be tuned for optimum fuel economy and performance.

onece we disabled DPF in ECM on one truck (i do not want to say what truck and what engine, you undrstand) and I told driver - remove DPF! HAH = he didn't and DPF was clogged fully, truck did not start till DPF was cut away
