It is my understand that a seat belt violation is not a big deal. They will ask if you have ever had your license suspended. Do you have to file an SR-22 form in Missouri? If you do not then you do not have to answer yes.
-
Just about any company will take you its best if they can see records of who you have worked for and if you haven't been out of the truck for to long best of luck

To the tough female trucker...I'm glad their is real people left on this planet ego.

Will seat belt tickets effect a driver's DAC even in a personally owned car?
-
all the companys i talked to so far dont care about the seat belt tickets because they are a non moving violation. the suspended license was a big deal to prime and one other company but everyone else seems to be ok cause its just a failure to pay suspension and it was only four months. i told swift & tmc about the expunged felony and that didnt go over so well both of them want me to wait 9 more months so it will be over the 10 year mark. so i stopped telling everyone about it if they find it then oh well i had a better chance by saying no and im legally allowed to say no anyways.
Pat W Thanks this. -
Yeah...I'm not a lover of seat belts either. They just repealed the helmet law for motorcyclists in Michigan but seat belts are still supposed to be worn. The local police & state troopers don't enforce the seat belt law too hard unless its a major holiday & there is seat belt enforcement zones.
