First off, No one has ever lied to you, cheated you, or stolen from you. Secondly, Steven is not a felon, and you calling him one in a public venue is straight up slander. If you have documented proof of either of these then by all means post them here. Almost forgot, there is only one owner, not owners

Actually we have 6 trucks presently and we are adding 2 more trucks soon, we don't and never have had 50 nor acted as if we have 50 trucks.

Contract drivers are not used to avoid Works Comp Ins. If you were as smart as you think you are you would know the following:

Workers’ compensation is a state-regulated insurance system that pays the medical bills and some lost wages of employees injured on the job. Texas does not require most private employers to have workers’ compensation insurance. Employers who choose to provide workers’ compensation coverage must do so in one of three ways:

    • buy a workers’ compensation insurance policy from an insurance company licensed by the Texas Department of Insurance (TDI)
    • be certified by TDI to self-insure workers’ compensation claims
    • join a self-insurance group that has received a certificate of approval from TDI.
Employers who don’t offer workers’ compensation coverage are called nonsubscribers.
Nonsubscribers lose important legal protections, including immunity from most lawsuits by injured workers, and could be forced to pay high damage awards if an injured employee can prove in court that the employer was negligent in any way.
If an employer has workers’ compensation insurance, Texas law limits the employer’s liability for work-related injuries. Injured employees may get medical and income benefits set by state law but may not sue their employers.

The FEDS and TEXAS DOT cannot and will not do anything to our company for your claim that we are trying to avoid Workers Comp Insurance.

Office On Wheels, run everything from our Cell phones. Hmm well lets get down to this one..... Commercial Lease for office space, and yes we use cell phones when we are out of the office, so customers as well as drivers can still contact us. The Comment about the Wife's Suburban, funny if it was her car why does it have my name on the title, and why am I the only one driving it. Yes we have an answering system for the phones that you do push buttons for, you just happened to get stuck in the endless loop once you quit because frankly we didn't want to talk to you.

The Ops Manager did yell at you, but it wasn't for nothing..... You picked up a load in Winsor, CO on 6/28/12 that was first come first serve, that was to deliver in Berea, KY (1283 miles) on 6/30/12 with a 1900 appt time. This gave you 47 hours to run a load that only required 41.5 hours to run legal (including two 10 hour breaks). You called the office at 1700 on 6/30/12 and told me you were still 195 miles out and you couldn't make it on time. This was the first time you ever mentioned heat exhaustion or stroke to anyone in the office. I called the receiver and got the appt time changed to 2200, to ensure you could deliver that Friday instead waiting till Monday. You told me that you could make this time, and we were good to go. 1 hour later you called back and told me that you could not make that time, and that you were trying to run faster than 75 miles per hour through Ohio. When I asked why you couldn't make it, you started cursing at me and told me to go F myself. I hung the phone up on you and then you called back and Steven answered the phone and you told him the same thing. That is when he started yelling at you, I was sitting 6 feet from him when this took place. Then you threaten to abandon the truck somewhere between Colorado and Kentucky, and that you weren't going to tell me where you left it. You finally arrived at the receiver after 2300, and they refused to unload you until Monday morning. Monday morning rolled around and you returned to the receiver to find out that somehow the load had shifted. You claimed it wasn't your fault, and blamed the shipper for the shifted load. Receiver refused the load, and we had to find another consignee to accept the load before we could get on another load. So which of these are not service failures, the late arrival or the shifted load? We never ask nor expect a driver to run illegal, and when only dispatch a load if it can be run legally.

Allowing you to work here after the cursing, and the 2 service failures. I knew you had been out of a truck for a while and had been dismissed from other companies, so as a gesture of goodwill I gave you the benefit of the doubt about the heat exhaustion/ stroke claims, because I have actually had heat exhaustion on the sands of Iraq and know how that can affect the body and mind. But I can plainly see after finding the multiple undeclared prescription medications in your truck once I recovered it that heat exhaustion, nor heat stroke had any roll in your behavior, or the pile of puke left in the truck for weeks.

Oh I see, because you have a family you are better than a man without a family, and I should be required to give you something, even if it something you can easily get on your own. Let your true self shine thru.

Setup emails and websites and then turns off access: Your right, I setup a company email for you, which I pay for, manage, and retain all the emails that are sent from and to. Further I am responsible for all emails sent from that domain to anyone, so yes I shut your email account down once you quit, just like I do if I have to fire someone. The email, AVX Portal, and all domains are company property, and not simply a free hotmail or gmail account for you to use when ever it suits you. Do this is basic business 101 stuff, protect you company from liabilities, but again, I guess you are smarter than every business owner in America.

Drivers dealing with brokers: How many people here have had the unpleasant experience of a broker calling at 730 am asking where your at after you drove til 4am, or had a broker call you 10 times a day to get an update. I have a company policy that states I will never give a broker a drivers number because I don't want the broker harassing my driver. All of the current drivers (which have been here since day 1) appreciate the fact that I never give a broker their phone number, and each one knows they can check on the load information anytime they wish.

I know you are upset the with the fact that the AZ DOT has requested your medical card be returned to them for your failure to report prescription medications, but accusing my father of being a felon, and me of cheating telling lies or stealing is beyond untruthful.

Please by all means continue to post these straight up lies on here, so I can reply with the documented proof of what actually took place.

let me make an observation here. this is not an attack on either party. In America, no one is "forced" to work for a company. You choose a company, if their working conditions satisify you. if working condition become more harsh then you expected, you quit. if you are an honorable person, you give your employer 2 weeks notice. I will never understand how people walk around thinking they are owed anything. No one forced you to sign on just like no one can "force" a driver to run illegal. last time i checked, there is only one steering wheel in a truck and only the driver is in control of it.

OP, sounds like you moved on, you got to put this experience behind you. learn from your experience so that it is not repeated. good luck.

How fast will your truck run at this company? You'd have to go pretty fast to meet that deadline,, even with 47 hours.. after the 10 hr breaks, you'd still need to get it there in 22 hours of actuall drive time. Anything else would overlap..1280 miles...How heavy was that load to Ky...sometime Hills will slow you down.........jUst wondering.....thanks

Really? You jumped all over me when i pointed out that you were being unprofessional. DUDE! I'm trying to find my first company out of truck driving school to go with. It's reading stuff like the multiple rude posts you put out there that make me rethink my choice to get into this industry.

FCW9, i understand your frustration. one thing you have to understand is that human beings react differently to situations. it seems that a lot of people get into trucking with aspirations of making those big bucks right off the bat. but, a lot of those people think that just because they point a truck down the interstate that that is all you have to do and you get paid the big bucks. there is a lot more to it than that. some people do not succeed in this business because they do not have a work ethic. at the same time, i hear about companies screwing over honest hardworking drivers, but their complaints go unnoticed because you have to butt-hurt ex-drivers that come here and spout off half-truths. don't let stories like this discourage you. the only way to find out if trucking is for you is to just do it, but research companies before you go off to orientation and make a commitment. your first year will be rough, but it doesnt have to be miserable.

rookietrucker, starvintrucker and FCW9 Thank this.
