Physical test at Stevens?

Basic DOT physical. If your BMI is really high you'll be donning the "darth vader" sleep apnea mask. If your BP is high etc you'll be put on med hold till it goes down.

 

if you are fat they will be issues,if not dont worry.

 

You will get flagged for the apnea test if your BMI is over 35, if your.neck size.is over 17", if you are over 50, if you have high BP, and if your throar.meats one of two profiles. Really is is a combination of those things that will get you flagged. Other than that, as the others said,just a normal DOT.

 

Over 50 won't do it by itself. I'm so far past 50, I can't see it in my mirrors...they never flagged me for SA. My BMI always danced close to 35 and my neck is 18".
Maybe my sterling personality got me past!

 

Its a combination of things. They are cracking down now. Seems everyone is getting evaluated during their DOT recert.
