I am sitting at the loves in Kingsville TX. I would have been further up the road but on US 77 between Raymondville and Brownsville you have to go thru the gauntlet of Texas DOT and they are being quite ruthless. I got popped today for a bad airline and the kicker is that the DOT guy is the one that made the hole!. I literallly watched from the cab as he took his square bar of metal and kept pushing it my braided line up front and then he says "you have a leaking hose" and he said my trailer abs was no good, I argued for a little bit and then after mechanic checked it, said it was perfectly fine. Frigging no nothing hillbillies

 

Actually, it's got 800,000 miles on it I believe. I don't haul loads heavy enough to get them hot LOL.

 

Don't you hate when you pay good money for a monkey to put your life at risk. A few months ago I replaced the joints from the Pittman arm to the knuckle, and the mechanic told me he pulled my steering wheel and straightened it out at the same time. I replaced the steering wheel about a month ago, only to find the retention nut not even hand tight. Needless to say, I didn't end up needing that harbor freight puller kit as the wheel came right off. This happened at the most reputable and expensive alignment shop in Orlando, yes I'm talking about you Josam!

 

Yes, but not sure it was anyone's fault. It has an old style hub nut on it and they discontinued them because the tabs break off and cause them to loosen I guess. Once I get home I will be replacing all the other wheel seals, nuts and drums.

Dropped my trailer off at the brokers place. Sitting at the hotel till it comes back, most likely Monday morning. Luckily there is a Starbucks and Famous Dave's BBQ next door
