    Hey all,

    Great Forum. I've been checking it out for awhile now, thought I'd finally jump in!

    I'm a 43yr old retired Canadian Paratrooper looking for a fresh start. This site has been very helpful with answering so many questions about the industry.

    I'm beginning my class 1 in two weeks and hoping for work in the oil patch, I'm experiencing a little "nervous anticipation" about the whole process. I've been jumping out of planes for 25yrs, so this is a BIG change. Looking forward to the ride though!

    Only once.............I got it sorted out really quick though (a few seconds) because there was only a few more available! lol

    Hey Pegasus,
    I wanted to say good luck with the course, your going to do great with it, I completed the course a year ago and had the same nervousness.
    Seems like heading out west is the direction to go; Ontario just isn't cutting it with the rates unfortunately.
    I was out west in August, but it seems that this time of year is pretty slow, so your timing is perfect for taking the course.
    Out of curiosity, where are you taking your course? I went to Humber.
