Love my on guard system on my Cascadia.
It is set on 65 and have only had trouble
A couple times when passing another rig.
    Keep the sensor clean.

They want experience for oilfield cause you will be driving off road.... On roads barely big enough for 1 truck to pass let alone two....if u are inexperienced u will have an accident...get the experience first.... In ND oilfields the in experienced cause the majority of accidents...drive otr and earn the 6 months experience... You will be glad u did...

Every once in a while they will hire inexperienced drivers. It depends on how bad they need them. I couldnt get in in March/April but I did in June. Just keep looking and checkin back

    oso_mike and gdyupgal Thank this.

First thing you have to understand is that 99% of the time it is the Driver that screwed up their DAC,not a company.

It's like Shoot This explains - if you can get that drilled in then go for "haul-truck" on construction as that is what I have enough time doing that I can go look for water-tanker work based on that ..... takes 500-1000 hours actually doing such to have any idea how to do it but being around equipment then assisting loading onto drop-neck or any such you can find results in the skill building that trainers often cannot provide, unless and except you hire a trainer yourself based on specialized "equipment haul" ......

pretty much I got my driving skills test passed based on doing my own searching for a "trainer" that specialized in rental trucks for the driving test with a few hours ahead of the test to acclimatize to what badge / examiner expects......

I had the examiner smiling the whole time and scored 92 .....

scores dont matter much with 60,000 #'s ~ what matters is what cobra7479 says,....and is centrally critical to how you need to scope your efforts

I applied for A few different jobs fresh out of school; well while in school. I got hired by Halliburton and had never seen an oilfield...It can be done by looking for work where the masses arent headed too. That was key for me; while very one was going for North Dakota I applied in Texas and got picked...
