Just applied to Swift

So I just applied to Swift a couple of hours ago. Just waiting to hear from the recruiter. Unsure of how I'm going to do this academy because I still currently have a job (that I am ready to leave). If accepted, I will most likely be going to the Phoenix location (live close to the area), but would like to get more details on the expected on-the-road schedule. I thought since I work at night that I may be able to do this academy during the daytime and not have to take too much time off work. However, I have no idea if I should expect to be gone for a day here and there or be gone for the whole 6 weeks. I would probably have to take vacation from the current job to attend the training. I do have a friend that used to work for Swift who told me that I could request a mentor that was regional and didn't stay out for weeks at a time. Any suggestions, knowledge, or advice would be greatly appreciated.
