Interstate 95 Attleboro, MA closed in both directions

ATTLEBORO, Mass. (WHDH) -- Interstate 95 in Attleboro was closed in both directions due to downed power lines.

Preliminary police reports stated a truck struck a pole, which brought down power lines across both sides of the highway. The crash happened between Exits 4 and 5 on Route 95.

The Massachusetts Department of Transportation tweeted at 4 p.m. saying traffic is backed up two miles in each direction. Commuters are to expect significant delays.
