Maybe things have changed that was what I was told a couple months back. Cpm (cents per mile) is what you and your wife will split as a "team" operation. Like US Express is .42 split .21 each driver as the 5000-6000 miles they run makes up for the lower than average solo pay. Could be different maybe have something worked out and I dont need or is my business as far as the specifics of what you have set up. Just a heads up happy trails

It's pretty much spelled out in the DRG. It is also on Roehl's web page/site.
Maybe teams are only available on the 11/3 and not the hometime plan you may be on.
Anyway.....my wife and I are excited about it. -
In Ellenwood. After I delivered this morning I was told by a FM in Gary, mine wasn't in today, van freight had come to halt in the area. So they sent me here to knock out the safety meeting. They gave out the new condensed version of the DRG. I guess van must be light around here because they tried give me a Reefer load. Of cousre I non commited and told them sorry not my specialty. They cancelled it and I did get a pre plan later to pick up a two stop load in Winder, GA delivering in Germantown and McFarland, WI. on Monday. The only down side to it is it won't be ready until tomorrow evening. Oh well it is what it is. I was hoping to get to talk George and Frank but it wasn't their week.

Today makes twice this week I "violated" my hours of service. I was one minute over on Monday and two minutes over today. I told my FM I was trying to park when it expired and he said he would tell safety. It was so much easier on paper logs when it came to maximizing drive time and still finding a place to park. Oh well. I would still rather use the electronic logs. It really is easier than spending 15 minutes after driving to finish up the logs and do a bunch of math, like I remember doing with the paper logs.
DrtyDiesel Thanks this. -
They can't seriously care about 1 and 2 minute violations
-
I don't know. I've been driving for years and I've only had the electronic ball and chain for the past 6 months. I would think they could just FIX it on their end, but who knows.

It's better to leave the violation, assuming DOT (or a lawyer) is looking at your logs it doesn't look like you're trying to hide anything.sly1 Thanks this.

I wouldn't worry about it was only a couple of minutes. I to got caught last Friday, thanks to the ramp to 75 north being closed in Dayton. I had to drive like 8 minutes after my 14 expired to get to the drop yard. Once I knew I wasn't going to make it, I just called night dispatch to have them authorize me to drive past my 14. Once they seen I was only 4 miles from the yard they just told me to head there. My FM didn't even know it happened until I told her. I totally agree running paper definetly made it easier to max out your driving hours but I have to admit I do like the elogs.skyviper73 Thanks this.

I got nailed tonight trying to make it to the Pilot in East St. Louis. I didn't know that the ramp from West I64 to North I55 wasn't there. LOL I ended up going West about 2 miles and doing a loop around and back North on I55. That added about 10 minutes to the trip and made me late.Ultra7 Thanks this.
