Schneider National Carriers - Green Bay, Wi.

My hubby is a IC for Schneider. The load board is horrible lately. Hard to get any loads for over $1.25/mile. Heard that their new computer system is losing customers. Also heard that one of their OC's in Texas has a "For Sale" sign on it. I book his loads for him and this has been a tough summer so far.

 

Also.... Just venting here... Last week was his "week from hell". I booked him a awesome drop/hook load for almost $2000. When he got to the shipper, they said the load wasn't due to be ready for another 24 hours. The whole week had to be rescheduled. Then I booked him a short but high mile load and it took Schneider 3 hours to get the correct paper work to the customer... This week he got 3 "critical events" where people cut him off and he has to lock the brakes to avoid a accident. Schneider then makes him pull off and spend at least 20-30 minutes on the phone on hold, then dispatch #####'s at him. Hmmmm.... We are considering Landstar.

 

AHHHH YES....I am a company driver...I run the "midwest" (whatever) but I too have been having a REALLY tough time getting any good loads and miles are slim...BUT have not fear chirstmas is coming soon (I hope) AND THE MILE WILL RETURN!!!!!!!!...... ok im kidding but really the miles have been really scarce for some reason for EVERY trucking company, and it might stay that way for another month but like I was saying above...christmas is come and we wont be able to keep up for love or money,,,,..... Chin up trooper your doing a good job and we all know hes trying hard too...BE SAFE
