I picked up a pre-loaded trailer in Ghent last week that had two lights out. So I asked the guy in the pre load office if there was anyone there that fixed these or if I needed to make a call. To my surprise they actually had someone on site and got them replaced while I tarped.

Apparently someone cant tell the difference between a blue freightliner and a blue kenworth. I had to take the shop foreman for a check ride to verify limiter because I was reportedly doing over 70mph lol. Not only was my speed limiter still set at 70 but Im usually passed by company trucks because I set my cruise at 62mph. The blue freightliner is an o/o with no limiter on speed.

i've seen the blue freightshaker once....

looked funny seeing Maverick mudflaps going down the road that fast.:biggrin_25523:

i would venture to guess they just saw a blue streak with mav mudflaps flapping in the wind, and assumed it was you.

Let me post this and see how my fellow Mavericks comprehend it. This was the instructions on my W/A today:
'UNLOAD NUMBER MUST APPEAR ON BILLS PRIOR TO ENTERING BUILDING TO GET UNLOADED'

What does that mean to you?.....

It means the unload/delivery number (usually given in WA but not always) must be on the bills. Either put there by shipper or written there by you.

Cant really comment without knowing details. What I will say is that sometimes you get stuck out a couple weekends close together. It doesnt happen a lot but it does happen occasionally. As to money,Ive never had Maverick not pay me what Im owed and when theres been a mistake they have paid it the next check.

It stinks being kept out so close together but I'm pretty sure most truckers have been through it. Except maybe local drivers. Maverick has always paid hubby money owed on next check if they made a mistake. He just sent a reply to payroll stating the error and it was taken care of. The grass always seems greener on the other side. Good luck in whatever you decide.
