If you have one picked out then take it for a test drive across a scale.

Call freightliner and give them the VIN

Define "exact" . Amount of fuel , tire size , accessories all alter the weight .

Does Freightliner put the weight on the sticker in the door jamb like Kenworth and Peterbuilt?
new2me Thanks this. -
that would be the ideal thing to do but its far away, it has a Detroit 12.7 maybe someone has the same type of truck
the companies with weight requirements must be hauling heavy loads
-
What is the weight requirement that you are trying to meet?

jb hunt says it must Weight less than 20,000 lbs, fueled and occupied and I belive this truck is over that but what truck weighs less than 20,000? Are the new ones that light?

If you are a newbie, I'll save you some grief and a lot of money. DO NOT CONSIDER JB HUNT, you'll go broke.
The only way to find out the weight of a truck is to put it on a scale. Every truck out there is ordered as a custom truck downtown to the brand of wheel seal. Most trucks should be under 20k unless it has a long wheelbase or is a Volvo 780. The bottom line though is the more restrictions the company has on the truck like model year or weight, the less they pay.new2me and lonelyswmtrucker Thank this. -
I agree with fortycal 100%, but I gotta ask. Why jb?
