It all depends on your situation. I know that this will get a lot of crap started, however here goes if you have a wife and kids it is going to be rough most do not make it. If you are single can take a lot of crap and have no ties then you can make some money. As for where to go if you just got laid-off or something along those lines check with your unemployment office there is a WIA program they will pay for your school. I suggest you go to a TDI school. I have been saving the worst for last pre-hire does not mean #### you get there and there is 101 reasons they will not hire you, but I do wish you the best of luck. However, keep in mind there is 168 hours in a week and if you take home $500.00 that is $3.00 per hour,

Personally with some of the reasons listed above is why I would not go to a school and take the offer from Roehl .. Here's my reason :
    1. They have a vested interest in you and need you to move their freight
    2. It's half price
    3. In 1 year or even 2 it don't matter where you went to school it all boils down to experience and how much you got and your CSA / PSP score and safety rating and MVR ..
    4. No out of pocket expense or loan ( just a year or so service )

In 1-2 years a company don't care if you got a A+ in alley dock they care if you can put the truck down the road in a safe manner . If you go to a company sponsored school no looking for a job it's predetermined where your working .. Sure you got to give them a year of service but you need that experience to get in the door in OTR any way ..
