Apple sounds like good products, maybe when I have the money. Right now its 10 dollar prepaid phones until Cricket is ready to be reasonable about the bill.

If your concern is logging into a company web site. It's your browser not your operating system that's running. To my knowledge any browser works on any OS. Mac-PC-Lenux: Enternet Explorer, Chrome, Fire Fox etc. If your only interested in web browsing buy any machine- laptop, tablet, net book with a decent processor for speed. Choose a browser- IE, Chrome,Fire Fox,Mozella etc and then go on line. What brand your computer is wont effect web surfing. (Except the whole Flash vs. HTML5 thing which should be a non issue soon- Heehee

I just picked up a MacBook Pro 13" from BB along with a Vzw hotspot, they knocked $200 off the price of the laptop which was already on sale for $60 off, so I got the $1199 laptop and the hotspot for $1050 out the door after tax. Pretty good deal and I am also an Apple fan, have had every iPhone since the 2g, iPods, and an iMac24" for home use. I had planned on getting the 15" or 17" but for the bunk in a truck the 13" is plenty, and it's still a bigger screen than an iPad.

If your worried about OS compatibility, you can install windows on any Intel Mac, with bootcamp. Then you would have both OSs on one computer.

I popped in just to see how the debate was going and figured I'd see a pile of anti-Apple posts. From what I've seen so far, I have to say :
I too have to cast my vote for Mac though price-wise if you're short on cash, then yea, a Windows PC will do. -
Windows pc's are slow
