I hear there half a size of full truck with only one bunk and no passenger seat. And some with only one gas tank. I want to go team just because of that. There very small and have little amount of space. Theres a thread on Prime about lightweights

They aren't that small. Mid-roof Cascadias have enough headroom that a 6' tall man can stand up in them. A Prostar has more. Mostly, they are shorter without the usual storage cabinet behind the drivers seats... so one needs to be a little creative. If you ask, the detail shop will pull the passenger seat; many folks use that space to put a refrigerator in. There is an advantage in this- a guy in a lightweight can scale a load that a full size condo can't. You have access to more loads.

They are also about 2000 pounds lighter as well. the DD13 can have up to 475hp, but I am not sure how much Prime has theirs set to,

I can already scale 49000. That's heavy enough.

Hey Prime drivers. Been really busy. Giving a little update. Well yesterday I was on the phone with my wife, she was not happy because I was not home and havent been home for a while. And whats worst is not making money while being out this long. Last week was at least ok for me. I averaged 2300 miles. But yesterday I decided to just quit. Went over to the terminal to hand in my keys. Talked to my Fm told him why I couldent stay no more. He told me that he would help but I told him Its been to much and I guess its time to say good bye. Then after I left and took a flight back home. So now im currently sitting home, off the road, not driving. Plan to go to orientation next week Wednesday. Hope everything go out ok. But have no plans to become solo for Prime. Driving a lightweight wouldent be a good thing for me being out 3-4 weeks. I know I cant train yet. Will have to wait 90 days solo. I will think more about their lease for now. Looks like at Prime the only way I see if it would workout for me if I lease a truck but not 100% sure if leasing a truck will workout for me.

A number of things... if its not a mechanical issue, usually they turn your truck down to 58mph. After that, if you still have a problem they give you the option to re-train with a trainer, or you are let go.

If you take the trainer option and still have a problem... you're let go. At anytime you can lease... where YOU pay for the fuel and its not an issue.

I rarely get the minimum... Never been bothered. My FM n I have gone over a few things, but he just said "Ok". He said my drivings fine, so nothing else can be done. I know someone will say Im lying and that I dont know what Im talking about, but I cant read it anyway. So dont care. I know what happens on my truck
