The best product I've found so far is Stoner Invisible Glass. I scrubbed this windshield five times with crumbled newspaper and I THINK the smoker's haze is gone. It was thick! I won't know for sure until driving into a sunset or driving at night through a well lit construction zone, or some other condition where the smear could show up.

Does anybody have other products they use that can clean off this gunk? I ask because maybe soon I'll get another truck from my company and this is exercise I want to minimize.

Best thing I found is NON SMOKING drivers :), but if not possible a good amonia based cleaned does a good job followed by the STONER INVISIBLE GLASS to do the final cleaning.

50 / 50 mixture of Water & Vinegar will work if amonia cleaner is not available.

I was going to suggest the white vinegar. Also, simple green will cut the haze with a good scotch pad and then follow up with your own window cleaner a couple times to get all the streaks.

Another good one is Totally Awesome from the Dollar Tree. It cuts all kinds of grease.

That stuff is also in/on every vinyl, plastic, upholstery, and carpet surface too. The glass is the least of your problems. Last time I moved into a truck it was a [heavy] smoker's truck and I never got it all out after 6 months. Went on my 6 month yearly hiatus and when I go back I'll wait on a non-smokers truck or stay retired until one comes open. I'm not moving into a smoker's truck again.

Wow can't imagine how those heavy smokers have their lungs. Just imagine all the money they can save just by quitting, not to mention all the health benefits. Well worth quitting, I usually tell my friends don't do it for yourself, do it for your loved ones.

Forget using newspaper as a substitute for paper towel! Puts a hazy film on it every time.
