A wreck on I-85 (northbound) in Gaston County, NC (between SC line and Charlotte, NC) on Friday evening during a rain storm resulted in 43,000 lb of beer being spilled onto the roadway and caused major traffic problems Friday night into early Saturday morning. The accident happened when a 4-wheeler lost control and spun out into the path of the 18-wheeler. Luckily, the driver walked away, but if you look at the video of the scene, you have to wonder "How did he do that?" Here is a link to the story on a Charlotte news site:

Since the driver came out alright, I will add that the sight of all that spilled beer takes me back to the movie Animal House when they are clearing out the Delta house and the mover trips with the case of Jack Daniels smashing all the bottles and Brother Bluto (John Belushi) almost has a heart attack watching all that booze go to waste.
