Does tmc do most of what they promise, I'm starting there Monday and would like some feedback on what to expect from them

weekends at home are nice but to make good money you might end up having to leave home early sundays just about every weekend if you cant handle being away from home dont even waste ur time work hard be on time and i am sure you will be ok

flatbed is a lot of work. while the wait times are great. the tarping is not. and if your company is like mine. 99 percent of our loads are tarp.

the south really sucks this time of year to tarp.

You'll do fine but like was said it is definitely more work. Some think they are strict but they're really not. Keep your truck clean and do what they say and it'll work.

I work for TMC and it's a good company. Not everything they say is true, but for the most part their honest. I drive about 2000 miles a week and bring home $1000/week. Most week-end I'm home. Most times i get home Friday afternoon and leave Sunday afternoon. Don't expect to get home the first few weeks as it takes some time for you FM and you get in sync. It will take 2 or 3 months for you to get to around 28% pay. Basically if your not making much money or getting home enough at first dont give up and jump ship. It gets a lot better after a few weeks. Training in IA isn't bad at all. Just be respectful and try hard. Then you have 5 week with a trainer. Its easier when you get your own truck since the hours will be better.
