Goen back on the road

    Hi y'all I'm an experienced driver been driving 8yrs locally the last 7 mainly Oregon Washington Idaho then Texas Oklahoma Louisiana and Arkansas when I moved too Texas. What can I expect as far as who I could work for? Seems the usual bottom folks will
    of course hire me. I mainly do machinery moving like CNC machines and such. Looken for decent 48 state OTR ideas opinions?

    Maverick has many fleets, I see a good deal of their trucks down around San Antonio.

    Maybe check with some Machinery Movers/Specialized Haulers in the part of Tx. you live in. You should be well qualified in that area I wouldn't settle for you the "typical high turnover begging for truck driver companies". (JMHO)

    I'm in Fort Worth I've nobody OTR that kinda stuff outa there. I'm in Kaisers freight lane but only for a 24hr at home deal they said. Faxed an Application to JK Hackl tonight see where that goes guess they are Kaisers competition.

    I was just at Forthworth this morning at the J, left around 9PM.
    Was USA still trying to get that spot on the front row? Saw him pull up 19 counted times. I would've helped, but I had to motor. Ran out of hours 67 miles from the drop... what luck.

    I have heard good things about Lone Star Transportation, and they are near you. There is a good thread here you can research.

    The recruiter told me since I didn't have 2yrs OTR they were not interested an yeah they have a shop real real close to my place.

    Well been talking to JK Hackl they are running all my info. Good news is Dobermans are allowed so my girl can join me. Inverters are allowed but they would like to install it for me which is great cause I've never done that before and they will make it look professional. And the gal sent me the 90 day pay scale I can share it here if anybody is interested.
