you know I`m just the wife of the driver, we hold little if any significant with the drivers..I was basically my husbands mobile secretary, trip planer ect..back masseur when needed lol..being a christian I can tell you, I was never so tested to allow the monster that resided inside me to be unleashed:smt068, as I did when he ran for (David)..I had friends in the office myself, was even offered a job their..as soon as I was in a car wreck in Okie City, that was another turning point..since I couldnt do what I had promised David, he all of a sudden didnt know who I was , didnt give a rats you know what if I had a pulse or not. not everything these people are saying is BS or coming from cry babies..That is one thing I am not..I rarely post on here, but when I do I tell the truth..when I had to come home off the truck after my accident, I spent many a night talking my husband down from wanting to do bodily harm to certain individuals at FM...for either falsely accusing him of stupid trumped up crap they wanted to dock him for, handing loads to others as a slap on the hand for what? he never did know.. their are narcs in every company & brown nosers in every company..their is good driver managers in every company as well ((for the most part)) ..but the few companies that he has ran for in the last 6 years since freymiller none has compared to the low down dirty treatment as they gave us & many others..there is no perfect company's...all have pros & cons!! believe what you want, take what sounds truthful & make your choice to drive for them or not..not all of its about lease purchase..most of this is just a warning..If you want to drive for him then do it at your own risk..who knows maybe you will be flavor of the month & have a good experience?
Dont mind me & my ramblings, Im just the silly wife
antoinefinch and Ice_Mystic Thank this. -
i drove for freymiller for 4+ years...good record...pu/del ontime and an excellent safety record...no failed dot inspections and seemed like i took a drug test for a lot of the narcs and brown nosers when is was in okc...everything was cool until i was involved in an accident...a driver from another reefer company pulled out infront of me when i had the right of way...man i hit that trailer at 60mph!!! no major injuries but going from 60mph to 0mph with 78000# on your backside hurts a lot....
anyway to keep this short upon getting released from the hospital and finally making it to okc. ok (btw w/o freymiller's help) 5 days later they were asking me to come back to work because they need drivers...could've been killed, severely injured or worse yet killed someone else but it did'nt seem to matter...the worse is yet to come...when i was finished with the physical therapy, i went and took my recertifcation physical and somehow passed. i went to the yard to take e-log class and get truck assignment...now mind u they had just recieved 15 new kw t660 tractors... they assigned me a used 379 pete that the the last driver had pooped and peeeed all over the interior... after all the years this is what u get if u don't brownnose david freymiller... he kinda reminds me of a napoleon/frodo mix...little short smelly mf!!!! bye now..........antoinefinch Thanks this. -
I worked for Freymiller back in the 90's as a company driver. My experience was very positive. I had an outstanding Driver Manager. I had more miles, most of the time, than I knew what to do with. My only problem was when Freymiller sold out to AmeriTruck, I think it was. I needed time off for some medical issues and because I was not in a seat, running down the road when the event happened, I was not offered a position in the "new company". I was thinking of checking them out again, but I want to read some current feedback before I would jump into anything.

I did a stint with them back in early 80's ( company driver ) with KW Anteater T600, did good with them at that time , ran produce up into Canada a lot and p[aper back. AMERITRUCK was the downfall of a lot of the companies they bought up.

Just further indication these forums do more harm than good. Any Johnny Come Lately with zero posts can come in a spout to the masses how horrible a company is or how great for that matter. The eyebrows only perk up when they do it to a well respected company. Most others turn into a dog pile.
Some tool ignores every bit of advice and decides he wants to be the only person in the world to make a lease purchase work and then comes here crying he got ripped off by the evil people who lied. Yada yada yada.
Join the club Mr Lease Purchase loser. Here's your sign.
Newbies are doomed if they read this "report" this and this company forums. -
Yeah ok whatever !

Lonesome Thanks this. -
I find it odd you would be snarky about posts when you sit here reading them? no offence, just a observation
