No you dont.put that on your record.it was just a driving school not actually getting paid to do OTR. I went through da same exact crap you went through in feb. Since then I vowed to never do those "so called" free truck driving schools. & I didnt I was waiting for my state to vomeup with the grants so they can pay for me to go to cdl school. Instead I win 3 rounds of the blackjack tournament yesterday & win $2500 so im off payin for EZ Wheels now

You have to be nuts to even consider driving for FFE. I called them once. Got a very nice guy to explain the pay I would receive. Then he started running down the endless list of what they would be deducting from my pay. 3 cents for this, and 1 cent for that.....but the list went on and on, till I got dizzy listening to the guy.

Any company that would talk about you making $700 a week, as if that is good money, is telling you all you need to know. Better to be a door greeter at Walmart, than to climb into an FFE truck. Better pay too, plus you're home every night.

There was a poster on here all the time boasting about FFE. Said they were the greatest thing since sliced bread.

Can't remember his name, but I haven't seen him on here in a long time.

I think Smaggs would know who I'm talking about.

Have to give the guy credit for being honest.By the time its all said and done, you could'nt even afford living expense without dipping into your cash advances.

I found out who it was now. Look at the "FFE Academy" thread.

The poster's name is Playmaker. He hasn't posted since April.

Maybe he is too busy making those big checks he was always talking about, lol!

"I called them once" Ya I once believed in Santa Claus. Things change, recruiters are misinformed, etc. The only mileage deduction is for pets that I know of. I don't really understand why you guys come on here giving out false or outdated information as if it's the gospal. You guys should really check yourself at the door! Go talk about your company on your forum, at least you may have a clue as to what your talking about.

Look I just went through the academy, currently out on my 6 weeks OJT. I can honestly say FFE was honest about what they are, are not and how much I get paid. The only thing that's still not proven is the miles per week. If I get decent miles I'll be happy for a year or so. I figure that I'll make about 35k the first year. This combined with the training and opportunity to prove myself sounds like a good deal to me. Your mileage may very, (pun intended).

They are not a driver mill. If that was true they wouldn't have sent home over half of the 46 people that started with my class. They wouldn't waste time teaching anything that wasn't needed to pass the DSP tests. They are serious about having safe drivers. This is reflected in the 2.85 accidents per 1 million miles for 0-6 month drivers.

I think they have already sold off 2 of their companies. They will screw up your DAC too. I never even stepped foot in a FFE truck. They put bad stuff on my DAC. This was 10 years ago though. So I'm not worried about it though. I don't work for a company that uses it. FFE sucks. Yes, I do know what I'm talking about. I've been there. They are jerks.
