So last night I drive out to hook on my trailer. I park it on a piece of ground out in the country that a friend owns. Well as I'm doing my pre trip I shine the flashlight up on the trailer bulkhead to check my securement equipment and my tarp straps are gone. Everything else is still there, chains, binders, dunnage, tarps...but someone walked off with over 100 tarp straps. WTF? I know they were there when I parked it because I check all that stuff during my post trip. So it's midnight and I'm hitting up wal mart to see what they have...I buy the last dozen tarp straps they have and 100' of tarp rope and hope it's enough to wrap 4 coils I'm on my way to pick up (It was).

But who steals only tarp straps, seriously?

I parked for 5 minutes in front of my house; came out and somebody stole the spare change (maybe $4) out of my ash tray, took my flashlight, a baseball cap and my radio faceplate. Petty theft has reached epidemic proportions in this economy.

    That's insane bro!

Them tarp bungies ain't cheap! I had a bunch break on me when we were using the old inter tube style bungies that roehl gave us. I bought some real ones at a truck stop, $3 each. Bought 50 of them. They stay locked in my headache rack boxes.

^ Your a fool if you paid 150$ for 50 bungee's, places that make tarp's sell them much cheaper.

I know, I was on the road and needed them. Got reimbursed by the company so no worries.
