Me complaining or is it an actual problem?

Find a new school, one that actually has truck that would pass a dot inspection. So far your description is of one that has very poor equipment.

 

i would have to add though i went to roadmaster in tampa and the pad trucks were junk but the ones we drove on the road were at least the minimum..=P

 

Driving a piece of ##### is all part of your training. Once you get a job in the real world and are issued a piece of ##### to drive you will know how to handle it.

 

Growing up on a farm in the country, my dad taught me to drive a dually beginning at age five. I was pulling hay wagons with farmhands standing in the bed of the truck and on the wagons with full loads of hay before 16. All he did to accommodate me was put a few cut up 4x6 blocks on the pedals with bailing twine so they wouldn't fall off and sit me on a couple phone books. I only grew up to be 5'4" so I do need to scoot my seat up almost all the way in the car but I think I'd try to find something to rig up for the sake of my practice time at school if need be.
