    lol i read all of them. It is only way i can truely understand the company and the lease. i know i have a way to go. But i am looking just as hard at starter companies at one point I called crenglund then found this site, High on transam for a minute. But In long run might have to be pam read something on trucking truth that said that companies are slowing down hiring from outside cd mills so best chance is going thru a company sponsored program. Just trying to cover all my bases

    Heres a newbie question, whats better, heavy loads or lighter loads and why.

    In general, light loads. Easier on the fuel efficiency. Therefore, more money in your pocket.

    Especially if you're a lease/owner op, light loads are great. Easier on the tractor and you burn less fuel so more in your pocket.

    The load I ran from Columbus to KC, was 14000 ;) Full trailer of grave linings and few marble pieces - that go on top of the graves.

    Yeah I hauled a load from there once to Princeton Ky. Recession proof business they are in LOL

    Im staying away from Dallas they got a bad case of west nile virus down there 41 dead so far make sure you were replellant . There spraying for it . But if the weather turns sour they ground the mission . Misquitos have to be active and airbourne for the spray to work no rain . Remember to were repellant . Enjoy your time there . see ya
