also my second question is can someone tell me if i delete the hand primer pump on the top of filter head will it be an issue for me to prime her if she happens to run low on diesel? or would i be able to fill filters and just turn over engine normally like if she was a cummins, i know the cats have always been a little hard headed to catch prime once they have air in system.Would it be recomended to do since my engine doesnt have an electric prime pump system.

what is the process of deleting the hand prime pump? as write ups dont list how to do this and what to drill?and if it can be done all while its still on engine?

i already sourced the cover and gasket now all i need to know is the process of pulling it off and drilling out whatever people refer to when doing this mod.

It's debatable that drilling the primer replacement cover will help a stock-ish engine.

I have a Fuel Preporator so I don't need the hand primer.

You can throw the old hand primer in your truck's tool box if you need it on the road.

if you drill the cover wouldnt that let air into the system? or does that cover go on top of the delete cover? this is where im not understanding the drilling part (where is it done to the same DELETE COVER thats replacing the primer pump?

if i drill it out, would this mean later i wouldnt be able to just put the hand primer on it if need be later?

Why would you want your truck to smoke?

Smoke equals burnt fuel, burnt fuel equals power. (burnt fuel equals money).

i just like having my mechincal engines doing that, like an old carbed engine idling low rpms with a nasty chop, its just me.

plus i live in the beautiful state of FL where there are no emissions to worry bout, so WHY NOT lol.

it would suck tho if i had to do a SMOKE TEST in some GOVT center lol, i remember when we used to have all the emissions stations down here in FL. A $20 would get you to the passing lane trust me theres ways around everything.
