Any owner operators willing to train me?

Unfortunately those days are gone. Repairs, maintenance and insurance is far too expensive to take on a trainee that will slow progress and be hard on equipment. Most likely if you find somebody to do this they will take advantage of you.

If you are serious about driving, find a school and a starter company. There is plenty of good information on this forum.

 

Also the insurance issues.

 

Trucking companies (not all but quite a few) with enough time will hire you. A lot of it depends on the nature of the crime and if its felony or misdemeanor.

 

only a felony can get you prison time..........

 

Somebody just posted...that he got hired with a felony....I think I was today?

 

A. Insurance will keep an O/O from training you.
B. Depending on your record, even if you get trained, you may not get hired by any decent company.

Bet it wasn't any decent company.

 

Can the poster be picky?....He can do his own legwork and read the old posts himself....I'm not hunting for it.....But I'm willing to point him in the right direction...

Maybe he can work something out....I don't know...
