    Mark,

Sorry that my previous message was a bit too abbreviated.
    1. Dock doesn't fail to install but rather fails to launch once it is installed.
    2. Yes to turning off the TND and then back on again.
    3. Unit is currently connected to computer, found Folder "Navi/Logs" but is empty. Have a back up, sending now.

    I think I'm in ##### here.
Thanks for the quick reply. Going to west coast tomorrow and would hate to be without it but that may have to be.

Dock - everyone - hold off on using the Dock for a few days. It seems to be hanging when you try to update.

I do need the Model's that you are using. This can be found in the serial number.

Sam, absolutely it will work with auto-zoom no problem. Just be aware that it won't stay there at the zoom level you manually zoomed to with auto-zoom enabled. It will go back to what ever zoom level it was at ( it zooms in automatically as you approach your selected way-point). Sometimes this can a little frustrating when your trying to zoom out to see what's around you. So remember to to switch to manual zoom if you want your selected zoom level to stick.

There are many choices to select where auto-zoom starts from so you'll probably have no problem automatically doing what you described. Personally, I have my auto-zoom level start point defaulted at the county level.

Sam- play with all the buttons and settings on the unit- it's the best way to learn what all it can do for you.

No problem. Been playing with it a lot myself. Especially all the navigational options. Fascinated with all the different combos and the route calculations it comes up with. Very powerful. Just takes some getting used to is all.

You should be here... I watch the Baby (almost 9 mo now) during the day, do my job, remodel the house inside and outside.

    Thanks,
    Mark

That's strange I can not get my TND720 to connect to my laptop or my desk top, I have tried 3 different USB wires it will charge but not see that it is connected.
