Proper plan enough product.
Efon, i know what you mean. driving at night is a brutal recovery it takes 24 hours just to drive 10 hours. I'm still recoovering from driving those nights.
has anyone got the detention pay at pilgrim in Chattanooga load was supposed to be ready at 930 last night and I'm still here its 1230 now. The load will be late to mount pleasant texas also.
I don't understand how we continuously wait on loads. the company is losing money too. I see that the only after 2 months being here that you could have 2 extra loads a month if you were waiting for loads. Its not FROW, its our customers failing to plan enough product. We have another furniture row load ready but no driver to take it. I'm sitting around waiting.
looking forward to the time off . -
now you know why I left the reefer business. To much wasting of my time!highwayman Thanks this.

Well took my truck in for service last night and found two things wrong with it. Flex pipe on exhaust is starting to leak and rear main on engine is starting to leak. Told them I'll hold off but will keep a eye on it. Going to stop off at a pressure wash and hit both spots so I can see how long it take for both to show signs of leakage. Flex pipe will not b bad of replacing but the rear main can be a couple days down. Right now over night didn't put any drops on the ground so realy not worried about it at the moment.

Well setting at the house. Washed and polished the truck while I waited for my wife to get off work so we could pick up the kids at school. Got the next two days off. I didn't check the Qualcomm to see if I got a trip on Monday yet. But if not guess I'll be calling Monday morning to see if I can roll out then. Have a good weekend everyone. Stay safe

Have my official first breakdown today. The spring on the Trailer in front of tandems failed and dropped them down causing breach and cuts to electrical too. This trailer i picked up in De Queen did not have any load locks so they pulled my load locks i left in other trailer.
Is it just me or have anyone else been experiencing some real slower, sp needs, cant finish high school type receivers, security and or shippers. Its not rocket science. A little or alot of attention to detail is required, maybe welfare is better for you.
I have seen legitimate special needs employees working at a Publix grocery store who could do a better job. I'm just saying.....walking around with a cigarette in your mouth while checking people in or taking a break after 2 hours, or failure to notify driver unloaded, the list goes on. Is it in the dust, water, or these small towns? This type i bet has asphalt stains on bottom of feet, and drinks mountain dew by gallon. -
The junk trailers they are pulling around have got to be costing them more in maintainance and pissed off customers than it would to buy new ones. They lost a load of chicken in Utah 2 weeks ago because the trailer it was put on was supposedly put OOS 3 weeks ago and it ended back up at Pilgrims in Canton and got loaded. #2 They need to build a shop in Aurora, they had probally 20-30 OOS trailers sitting in New Albany when I quit, and a lot of them are newer trailers. They can not keep up in New Albany.I still think FRE is a decent comany for anyone that lives in CO. or Tx., and they like sitting at meat plants and grocery wharehouses for hours on end, it just didn't work for me.BTW things going great at my new gig, another 3000 mile week.
