I have been searching and filling out apps everyday since last Friday and today I get a call from a guy from this company I am going to assume he's the owner. The company is Flatbed only and is more of on the line of a Mom & Pop shop for me. When I told him I was a rookie and had a Felony on my record and he stated he would train me and he did not care about my Felony as long as I was willing to work hard and stay out 2-3 weeks at a time.

The starting pay is 0.45 CPM loaded and unloaded and he does not pay the extras ya know tarpping and all the other flatbed pay. He also stated that his drivers are 1099 and the company has no benefits.

I have 2 pre-hires already and yes both companies know about my felony, but I kinda want to be with a Mom & Pop instead of a mega carrier, but my gut is telling me to move him to the bottom of pile ohh and I failed to mention he got my information off Craig List...

    Thoughts please...

The company is located in Chicago.

Steer clear of this offer or you will be in tax trouble in no time.

Lol that's what I was thinking, but it would be nice to get 3-6 months of experience off them.
