I can tell you this, that backing up a flatbed is not as easy as a van. Trailer doesn't turn as well on a flatbed

Thanks, now I know why drivers are always asking me to put steers and front spread axle tires on my company equip. lol -
I've only seen that diagram followed once but the commentary on the CB seemed to start at about the third or fourth attempt.
