can a company take your cdl?

    Back to the serious side. A CDL or any license is nothing but identification by the state that one is licensed to operate a certain vehicle. Swift might have authorization for third party testing but that it where it ends. That have no rights whats so ever to someone else's government document.

    They are overstepping their boundaries and if it is in writing it needs brought to the states attention.

    He is a.company driver. I was not trying to insinuate that they are a bad company,they are treating him well. This our first time dealing with anything in trucking and just didnt understand why that was put in the paperwork or what it meant... Thank you again for replys
