at the Eagle Truck stop in Palislade,Co....deliver/drop in Loveland,co tommorrow anytime before 2359.....

 

At the 24/7 west of Topeka. I also gotta make a drop in.Loveland tomorrow. Gotta 722 mile preplan for Monday that I don't have enough hours on my 70 to run. Fort Collins to Odessa.

 

Hanford, got to be at home for the night, picking up tomorrow headed to Vegas baby!

 

When I used to run thru Vegas I had to deal with a 'herd of construction trucks' (and the locals seemed to generally have contempt for me as a passer-thru because of the abundance of them!)..was b4 the big new housing crash there...must be a lot lighter traffic during the week now?

 

Flying J in Amarillo. Got in to the ultra small Loves on I27 around midnight but they don't have showers. So moved over to the J this afternoon. Gotta roll about 03:00. Gonna miss out on a reset. Only had 31 minutes on my 70 for today.

 

I spent 2 yrs shuttling freight in a daycab along the US/Mex border between Calexico & El Paso and got used to trailers being raped while crossing the border. Carried several sets of lights, an extra crank, and a can of ether for flat tires (often good tires were swapped out on the other side with bald ones!). But never did strap a 16' ladder to the back of my cab like some old timers did to change out upper clearance lights tho....most theft was on the tail lights
