I was at DDDI in Lockbourne Ohio. They wouldnt give me the name or social of the lumper. They said it was because it is a company not an individual lumper. Then they wouldnt take a PO number or the authorization code for comcheck. They said they only take Physical checks. I had none so i had to drive 25 min away to the nearest Pilot and get some comchecks. What a crock. Gonna hope i dont get that load again. Wasted a ton of time that i didnt have to waste since i am super low on my 70.

most lumpers charge for comchecks now and some places can take an express code without the comcheck. It always pays to have some comchecks handy though.

Been running ok here lately...rolling when there's freight and waiting when there's no freight. Ellan called me yesterday morning after i loaded in Dalton, GA...asked me if I was interested in grabbing a student to train before I left GA... So gave him a call and we hooked up..rolled from Dalton, GA to Plano, IL...delivered to Plano, IL. this morning then dispatched to deliver to Menards store in Tipp City, OH... Student is doing a great job..going to be an easy one!!

Was in Charlotte NC today for a while doing some shopping with the GF, seen two Millis trucks heading towards Danville VA. Couldn't help but think, I hope that's me soon!

was on a good run towards breaking 3000 miles and once again i will not break that elusive threshold. i had 2041 miles friday hit ready for dispatch and got a 357/93 run delivering anytime saturday so that put me at 2491. i figured yeah now i just need a normal run over 500 whuch is what i had been getting. the 3000 was so close i could taste it. hit ready for dispatch and what did i get? a load that doesnt pick up till 3pm sunday for 384/26 delivers monday anytime. leaves me at 2901. so close again for the 3rd time. its like they dont want me to break that seal. i am not really complaining i like the miles just wish i could beat my best week which was 2985.
