    Hello, 52 year old looking at a new path to take in life, have always been interested in trucking , but at my age would it be a good choice towards my retirement . I am physically well, alert, well organized, but see so many young drivers on the road, would I be elbowed to the side. Anyway all you truckers have my respect and admiration on what you do to keep us all well supplied

    Younger does not certainly mean better......some (most) veteran drivers would say the younger ones are worse.

    It never hurts to try........I'm 44 and love the road and my job. My only regret is that I didn't do this in my 20's.
