Ok then, Id scratch the NE Regional... I dont want to live up there anyway.

I wouldnt have to change Fleet Manager, only the truck. I average over 2800 miles a week with my dispatcher.

2922, 2930, each of the last 2 weeks of this new raise... and 3296 with delivery today for this weeks check. I dont see anyone restricting my miles yet.

Suprise, just got a 1500 mile preplan due by Thursday.

I don't think they are cutting the miles. What I think is they don't have the freight to support the amount of drivers they have. At least up here in the North East region. I get into The TA in Greenland, NH and The Irving in Auburn, ME several times a week as well as the Walmart DC in Lewiston, ME and have a chance to see old friends that still are driving with Prime who are struggeling to make ends meat. Along with the many that I don't know but strike up conversations with. Some are doing ok but most are tired of the 3 day delivery time on a 400 mile run. Then waiting another day to get a load to do the same thing over again.

You understand that temperature-controlled freight is a little soft up there right now. It's mostly a seasonal thing that hits this time of year.

Well I guess we don't know the same people then do we. I just got off the phone with one of them who was sent home from the Willington, CT TA. Yes I said Sent Home. Not because he was due home time or even requested it but because FM said freight was slow. He had been there waiting on a load since yesterday. Now don't get me wrong I think it was nice of the FM to let him go home the 47 miles rather then make him sit there any longer so close to home and all but the fact remains that they don't have the freight up here to support the trucks. And yes U2 this poor guy has only averaged 1600 miles a week for the last month and a half. This week was only 1400 +

Well I'm glad you blame it on the "seasonal thing" rather then on the Election Year. LOL But fact is, it's harvest time up here brother and the fresh produce is flying off the farms. I'm seeing 50 to 60 Prime trailers leaving Boston Rail Yard a day on the rail. All being pulled in by a certain private contractor.

Been that way for the last 5 years up that way - but usually picks up this time of year. First time I can remember anyone commenting on large numbers of our trailers on rail though. It certainly sucks for the company guys up there. Can't say I've seen much of a drop-off this year - although I don't spend much time north of Boston at all any longer.

Last I knew, you were training TNT for Prime. That would mean you were running team. Those sure aren't weekly team miles one would hope. If the pre-plan you got for 1500 miles and 4 days to do it was while running team. I really feel as sorry for you as the other poor guys at Prime who are struggling to feed their families. That's alot of sitting not making any money.
On the other hand if you are running solo and come on here bragging about how much money your making and all the pre-plans you get while so many of your fellow company drivers are struggling to make ends meet, well maybe they should ban you again just for being.......well.....you.
