It was mentioned in post #691 in this thread. That is where the reference to orientation is.
Hope this clears up any confusion you may have about my reference to the word orientation

i have been with cre for a few months now, and first my co driver and i are making squat!!!! and i'm going to blow you away with what i say but i swear it the truth. the only time we sit at truck stops is wait to load or offload because we are not getting appt times moved, we are never late for pick up or deliver always at least 5 hrs early for both. the only time we shut down is yes for dot regulated laws (ie 10 hour breaks on rolling restarts, pre-trip in required states, and post trips.) we have no accident to shut us down, we don't refuse any loads because we get with our dm and say hey the co-driver needs a rolling restart. and we take 2 days every month to month and a half, we are barely seeing 800 a week for the truck, and our fuel just for the record is not bad. lets go this route how about the 14 cents per mile we are charged to get no choice in loads, we are just told this is the only load we have availabe when i know for say instance los angelas has more than one load coming out of here, upon asking about the 14 cents per mile i was told brokerage fee, ok that's fine but where's my option of loads, or a load board even? then i won't complain take your brokerage fee. as a team truck however we are not making the miles you are claiming to make. our dm is nice but not sure why we're not getting the 6k miles a week we could get.

I've been driving team for England for 9 mos. now. The money & miles are there. All u have to do is work. Just work. Do your job, don't #####, don't go home for a week every month, etc.. The 14 cents a mile on the leases is the biggest ripoff ever. I've gotten about 4 different explanations on exactly what that's for & where it goes. I'm sure none of them are the truth. Other than that....it's all good. I will be turning this truck in when this lease is up in about 3 weeks & not leasing another one strictly bc of the 14 cents. I'm going to try to go company. After that, my attitude may change. lol. We'll see how it goes.

CRE needs to show/advertise you are making 76 cents a mile instead of the 90 because of that variable mileage payment.

The freight has been really good in the container division the last two months. Some P2 trainers are complaining they are not getting the miles but that's because they are new and there is only so much freight to go around.

Good, been busy turning/burning the last couple of weeks. I see there is a fresh batch of disgruntled new hires to CRE.

One bad thing about not leasing again is I will lose my DM. He's always been very dry, cut to the point, no sense of humor & all business, but kept me going as much as I could handle. We were just starting to understand one another. lol

    I hear that, I do.
On this side of the mountain we're bein' reminded that it's summertime in the desert.
Which also reminds me why I don't live in Palm Springs or Bullhead City.
I have a low melting point.
It's somewhat comforting to realize that in an always changing world,
    SOMEthings remain the same.

    Consistency
    Rewards

    ..... ? .....

Be well, --- stay cool and
watch out for the other guy.
We don't want to lose you. :biggrin_25512:

"Those who don't know history are doomed to repeat it" -Edmund Burke

This seems to be the norm somewhat but there is hope. Every student I had who got a company position with CRE is still with the company. But that's only 3 in the last 4 years.
