After you get your CDL, to transfer - most states just require that you go to the driver's license office with the CDL, your medical card, and something that proves your residence. Colorado required a current bill, a bank statement - something like that.

Isn't Central going to finish up your CDL process in Utah?

I would think what ever state you passed the test in is the state that has to issue the permit /lic

It's similar everywhere. You'll start with a pretrip inspection that you have to pass first. Then there will be a series of backing manuevers, and a road test. The real question you have is how you arrange this. Some states have a CDL test unit, but most have a system that uses third party tests. In other words, a CDL school that administers the test. You'll need to find out how to arrange a truck and trailer for this as well.

That being said- what a bunch of cheap, lousy azzhats! They bring you out there for training, and then it's, "Well buddy! You want that CDL? You're on your own!"
