Im looking at a post for schneiders western 11 fleet and it says average between 2100 and 2500 A week. Are these numbers low because some drivers do not put in full days? My opinion of driving is utilizing a full day and putting on a minimum of 450. Obviously sitting for a load dampens the ability to get this kind of mileage but are people sitting because they dont want to work or is it because they are waiting on freight?

it depends on the load and how far it is away to deliver and what time the delivery is. if you have short runs with alot of time to deliver the load determines how many mile you get paid. when i worked for swift back in '97, they give me a load out of fontana,ca to washington and had a 4 day delivery time. they wouldn,t let me t-call it in portland.so i sat for 2 days without pay. sucked

5 and a half days at 450 a day is about 2500 miles a week. A lot of regional guys only work am average of 5.5 days a week. Some giys run more, some less. Its really up to you how you run, hitting a 2800 week avg isn't unheard of.
