Wow you think so much of her you cna't even smell her name right, and I had a lot of good weeks there, but when you have 4-6 weeks in a row with 2000 or less miles in a week its time to go. And you think I'm the problem, there were 6 in our orientation class and guess what none of them are there anymore, and if you think they were whiney messages I will post them here, So be careful who you are calling out. I know Michelle from another company that went bankrupt, the same things were happening. And yes they are more attentive here, but thats another story for another forum. Just be advised when you post something on a website you are opening up to comment, good bad or indifferent. I have said Furniture Row was not for me, but it might be ok for others. I am the type of driver that stays out a month at a time, I expect to run 10-12000 a month, not unreasonable considering I'm not taking hometime every other weekend. This did not happen. It did the first 3 months, then it was hit and miss. And she did do a lot for me, I was just advising this driver to watch what she says, I was told the same thing 4 weeks before I left and no improvement. I was left at home 2-3 days after I was due out from hometime. ANd my former dispatcher Lea will tell you, ask her if the driver that lives in WInchester,Tn. was a good driver, never late, ran everything given to him without complaint. I had 100% ontime, I did what it took to get it there. you'll see what she says, I don't think you have the balls to do it.

Subject: I am an upset driver

The following is a copy of an email that I sent to Jon Larchick yesterday. I also copied my dispatcher on this too. I don't want to leave here but financially it is putting my against a wall with these low miles. It would be a shame to loose a great driver who is dependable, safe, and professional. I have 2 children in private Christian Schools and have to work as hard as I can. I hardly take hometime except every 4 weeks for 3 days.I tried to go through the proper channels, but just this morning I was sent another load that had 756 miles over 3 days. If this company wants to succeed loads like this are not profitable for it or the driver. The email I sent yesterday follows:

    Good afternoon,
I hate to write this email and complain. but I am very upset at the poor planning that i have recieved since I came out of the house on the 3rd. I have only averaged 315 miles a day over the last 10 days. I have sat more than I have ran. I was home for hometime 8 days, I only asked for 4 off. I was told after I delivered in Norcross,Ga. on June 25th to go home early by the planners. My hometime was scheduled for the 28th, I am sure they could have found something to do for 4 days. Thats 4 days that the truck sat and did not produce any revenue for me or the company. The next situation is the current load I am under, It picked up in Chicago on Tuesday morning, I was loaded and rolling by 1030, I could have delivered it in Grand Prairie today, it is only 955 miles and it does not deliver until tommorrow, Who booked this garbage?I let dispatch know when I picked it up that I could deliver early. I sent this message on Tuesday and never did hear anything back. I have enough on my plate as a driver I should not have to babysit planning to get them to call customer to see if I can deliver early. When my check was direct deposited I only drew .01 because of the 4 extra days I was made to take off. I see it like this if I am going to run 2100 miles a week why am I staying out for 3 weeks at a time. I can find a company that runs me like that and get me home every weekend. I am probally the most professional reliable driver you guys have, Ask anyone if they ask me to do something I will break my back to get it done. I love working here but the financial end of it needs to improve, I told you when I started I needed 2500-2800 miles every week I am out here. I understand the holiday week, but that was not the problem as I worked everyday that week, even though I put in to be out on Monday and didn't get a load until Tuesday. I just wanted to make you aware. I will take 2 bad weeks but on the 3rd I'm looking elsewhere. I feel like if we can work on this things will improve.Last month was great, look at my numbers and see what I am capable of, but here it is halfway through the month and I haven't even broken 4000 miles.
    Thank You,

like i said enough said;i can spell cant...if u CANT stand the heat get out of the kitchen...the fre staff are trying to keep drivers happy, sometimes freight is slow sometimes its wide open.ive had slow weeks to,u just ride them out.no matter where i drive its always that way.but at the end of the year uve still made 50 grand.sorry i ruffled ur feathers but some of us get offened at ur remarks about others at this company.it just gets old.i hope everything goes well for u where u are and they keep u happy for a long time.if u dont like the response of other drivers dont create the response.only responding to ur comments about others in this company.i pray god
blesses u and ur family and u live a long productive life

I could understand that if it was an isolated instance, but this happened for 3 months solid. So why is it if freight is slow, I know peoplein operations at other companies hauling the same products as Furniture Row and they told me it was the best July they remember in years and they are having to broker out freight because they can't cover all that Tyson and JBS and Seaboard give them. There is a problem in operations at FRE, that has been admitted by the higher ups. And what have I said that is untrue? Merit did go bankrupt, Michelle was the head planner there, and the same things were happening, 3 days to run 800 miles, sit sit sit. But it comes down to this if I'm going to have to run 1500-2000 mile weeks,I'll find a job where I can be home more often so I did.I SAY IT AGAIN FURNITURE ROW IS AN OK PLACE TO WORK, THEY HAVE THEIR PROBLEMS BUT IT DIDN'T WORK OUT FOR ME, IT IS GOOD IF YOU LIVE IN DENVER OR TEXAS. MICHELLE HAS WORKED AT OTHER COMPANIES THAT WENT BANKRUPT! there.....No Lies No falsehoods plain truth. P.S. What is said in a post a while back that it is the Michelle style of load planning, did I lie, dsis 20 on here was having the same issues, Bakalov same issues, reread the posts and see how many driver are saying "Sitting in Holcomb" "Waiting on load" "Got 700 miles for the weekend" Its not just me man, I'm just the only one not afraid to bring the situation into the light. And btw God is blessing me everyday with a better job which I prayed on before i took it,I can actually afford to tithe again and I will live a long productive life.

With all being said I'll go ahead and say my part. The planners have a little to do withmeayt loads. Tyson, JBS all set thief own appointments for the loads and evey company pulling them are stuck with the same crap as FRE. But the planners have nothing to do with low freight. That is the sales rep faults. Are sales rep is not getting us the floats or loads needed for all the drivers to run on. The planners can only give out what has been contracted on. Not taking any sides here but if some ones faults are going to be pointed out then lets at less call them all out. To me I do think the planners are trying to do a good job. But are sales rep is just setting back collecting a free pay check. 2 new clients in 8 months is poor work performance. Being 128 trucks right now he should be pulling in more then that in 8 months.

Hey, Daniel stay safe that truck stop is pretty shady. I know a guy who lives in LaPorte who said stay away from there. And, be careful going to NOLA. At least on the plus side you'll get a free shower and truck wash.

    Daniel.trawick Thanks this.

Ya, 3rd time at this place in the past year. Not realy my first choice of places to stay the night but works out good for not starting the clock. The load to NOLA was cancel so no free washes or water slides :(. But going to Albuquerque instead. So more bugs and a darker suntan arm....lol you do the same and be safe. Many sunny road ahead.

It does seem like some guys get taken care of with better loads more than others.
After the load to La Porte with too much time on it. Got a load to Omaha with too much time on it, going home now, will see what happens after that.

Forgot to mention, I had to sit the rest of the day after unloading in La Porte.
