What? No mention of Baltimore on that list?

Have any of them ever been here? You'd be safer on the streets of Ramadi.

It surprises me none. The #### ring leader the biggest criminal in Detroit is the mayor himself..

I had to deliver in Detroit last week, near 8 Mile. (Needless to say, I was not suprised to see this report). I used to work the ghettos of the 7th worst city, but Detroit is an absolute 'jungle'. What a #### hole!

I think that'd be a great place for you to live, man.

You can share your political views with the fine, upstanding citizens of that fair metropolis. I'm sure they'll agree with you whole-heartedly!

Now that I've removed my tongue from my cheek I can get back on topic...

I'm not surprised by this report either. My company has a facility just down the road from the old Tiger Stadium and just north of the Windsor bridge. It's right on the water front of whatever body of water it is that bridge crosses. I've had the miss fortune of being there at night twice and with all the scum, bums, drug dealers and hookers hanging around, I'm surprised I made it out alive, with all the money in my wallet I came in with, and without any incurable diseases. I saw a police car drive by once and just kept going. The hooker didn't bother to stop her head bobbing movements as she was servicing her "John". :biggrin_2551:

Being a corn-fed country boy from Illinois, I was a tad uncomfortable.

I see 2 of the top 3 are in Michigan. To be honest, I thought Flint's crime rate per capita was higher than Detroit's. I had been there a few times and it didn't really strike me as being dangerous. I've been on roads in Detroit where I would have felt safer ducking and flooring it than I would have about sticking my head up where people could see it.

It is, but these studies are only surveying Major Populaces. Flint has always been the most dangerous city in Michigan per capita for decades. So if you say Detroit is worst major in the Nation, Flint is most likely worst in the Nation period.

    AHHHH, Home sweet Home!
