I'm with malone so I'm not sure about the van division, but I believe whoever is doing the LP would be the lead driver and get paid percentage while the other driver gets mileage...or that may be for trainers. I would call and ask.

Do your time and leave.

If you are a L/P and want to have a tram driver you must pay that driver. That driver will be your employe. If your training you pay crst 0.06 cents a mile to have that student on your truck to drive.
-
CRST pays the l/p 6 cents a mile , got it backwards there
-
Not If you are on the L/P plan like the guy was asking.
The I/C driver pays CRST 0.06 cents a mile to CRST to train the student.
BTW: L/P MEAN LEASE Purchase driver Just i case you were thinking I was meaning lead. -
No I know what u meant but my trainer was l/p an got 6 cents a mile for training a student ,a i/c has to pay the driver . Just sayin you had a part that was backwards Tis all
-
Either your lead driver did not know what he was talking about or you miss understood.
They way CRST looks If the lease driver that is training a student get to hire on a student for 28 days to help that truck runs miles
Since the student is helping the owner make money in his truck crst feels that the lead driver needs to pay the student salary.
So they charge 6 cents per mile on every loaded mile that truck runs with a student on board. That pays the student.
A company driver gets paid 6 cents more to train.
So if your lead driver was getting paid 6 cents to train you he was a company truck -
Um congrats?
