All I know about the 129 test is one of the requirements is each cab pillar must be able to withstand a static load of 10,000kgs while the Swedish standard is 15,000kgs, there's a big difference in the aftermath of a crash between the likes of a DAF and the two swedish brands

The availability of the new Argosy here does depend on which dealer you talk to . Obviously, Brink Farms has 1, so it is possible. -

really not only Volvo, Cascadia and Coronado are EU crash tested. newer Pete and KW T660, S/T, Columbia, smaller Business class are tested. But old 9800 and 9600, FLA are really dangerouse.

yeah, aluminium cabs are not so fire resistant as European steel cabs, but really EU cab after the similar fire damage cant be reused too.

yep you can get the new argosy as a glider here in Canada I passed one this week on the 20 west of montreal it Was a G k morsey a company outta nova Scotia that runs a lot of the older argosy's....it didn't look too bad aside from that new grill its takes up way way too much of the front end
