    Hey everybody, new student out of South Carolina here looking for advice and reports on truck driving companies so I don't get screwed by a company haha :)

    that's kind of hard to do ~ I met a driver Tuesday who had been doing the work all his life, the truck was in ideal condition but he had sat in Houston for days with out being on the clock - they got him a load to Canada ->> he said he would make the run and take the truck back to them and that would be it for his career

    it can be done, start now reading posts about companies plus doing your own looking ~ someone will always moan at least a little but there are baddies and they can be found in advance

    Yeah my dad was in the trucking industry for a long time, so he's already warned me about a few places. Werner, USX, Swift, etc. The funny thing is, is that I haven't even started at Sage yet and Werner is trying their hardest to recruit me. I'm only seriously considering Roehl and TMC.

    Yeah I've heard some good things about Schneider. Never heard of FFE at all. But I'll definitely check it out, thanks man :biggrin_25514:
